JENNA CAPOZZI - Freelance Producer and Director

Ms. Capozzi’s training began at UCSC where she graduated with a B.A. in Film & Theater Arts. From there she went to NYU and graduated with a technical degree in Film Directing. While in New York, Jenna had an opportunity to meet with the iconic director Martin Scorsese. It was his words of wisdom, "Just do it. Just shoot anyway that you can," that propelled her already fueled desire to be a filmmaker. She took that advice to heart and has been working steadily in the Film/TV industry ever since.

She is a pioneering creator, director, producer and editor. Her first industry project, at age 19, with 20th Century Fox’s White Men Can’t Jump, she worked along side friend and mentor, writer/director Ron Shelton (Tin Cup). This gave her an early solid foundation for her progressive career in the entertainment/media industry.

In 1996 she teamed up with the award winning duo, writer/producer Jim Hirsch and producer Robert Papazian of Hirsch/Papazian Productions, for the CBS hit series Nash Bridges. While there, Jenna gained much recognition as well as the full range of knowledge in what it takes to make a visual project a success. Jenna was an intricate part of the Nash Bridges team for six seasons before moving on to Pixar Animation Studio’s.

Jenna created Forward Films in 2007 with the intention to appeal to the growing demand of visual media in the corporate world. It was in 2009 that a different environment was needed and Jenna built a created a new workable platform for her clients. A freelance company a ‘Collective’ of artists.
